Client Win This Week
“Got out for a hike with grandkids over the holiday weekend. Kept up and nothing hurt the next day!”
Go Long in the Wild!
This morning, I wrapped up the 31-day challenge of getting outside for 10+ minutes within 15 minutes of waking up. The goal was to naturally improve sleep by sync’ing my circadian rhythm to natural light. I hit ~26 days out of the month so I’m happy with that. I only had a couple of nights where I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall back asleep within 15 minutes. WIN!
Are you trying to improve sleep? Let me know in the comments what you’ve tried.
I commented on a LinkedIn post around embracing the journey instead of focusing only on the outcome.
When you focus only on the outcome and not on the process to get there, the big moment can become overwhelming. Instead try leaning into the process so you can learn from the ups and downs along the way. This helps when things get tough in the pressure-packed moment to know that you have the resilience to move forward.
As a reminder, I also publish related but different content on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Please feel free to give Go Long a follow.

Myth Monday
This week’s ‘Myth Monday’ was about motivation around working out. Even though this is essentially my job, I struggle with motivation on occasion. This month has been hard as the kidney stone continues to annoy me and I haven't been as dialed in on my workouts as I’d like.
